Wilson Combat base pads for Taurus 1911 mag?

Hello all,

does this Wilson Combat base pad fit on the stock Taurus PT 1911 mag?

Thank you

While I'm pretty familiar with Wilson's products, I'm not very familiar with Taurus's line-up. My guess is they use ACT-Mag 1911 mags and my bet would be the Wilson pad would not work.

The typical ACT-Mag has a longer tube and the pad wraps around the bottom of the tube. The Wilson pads you show are for the 47 Series mags, and are just affixed to the bottom of the tube. The Wilson ETM pad may be closer, but I'd not bet on it.

Wolff Gunsprings sells ACT-Mag under their name, and while I see complete mags, and springs for them, I don't see aftermarket pads.

D&L Sports also sells ACT-Mags, they do offer aftermarket parts for them.

Edit to add: If I'm wrong that Taurus uses ACT-Mag mags, disregard the above information.

Which mag is it. Does it already have a pad and you want to replace it, or is it a flush mag with no pad and you want to put one on?

https://www.mec-gar.com/Magazines/1911

If it has no pad, there are a variety of screw on pads and some stick on pads. The Wilson's will not work for that application.

CheckMate has these screw on pads https://www.topgunsupply.com/check-m...th-screws.html

Here are some more options at Brownell's https://www.brownells.com/magazines/...%7cMake_3=1911

This is the mag:

I'm looking for a replacement of the mag bottom to use the mag with the Wilson Combat magwell. The original mag bottom is too wide.
