Cw-ii

I've opened this dialog several times in the past couple of years.
Probably sounded like the kid crying, "wolf".

Most of you said, "ain't no way."
Or
How can you fight the Feds when they have nuclear weapons?
(Maybe it was the Feds that said that?)

Well, What say you now?

In my last posts I said we probably wouldn't recognize it when it hit.
It has taken a few months to crystalize.
But - here it is!
On the telly - in living black ad white.

The enemy has selected the ground - city streets.

Defund the police and what's left to stop the enemy from taking over?

You ready for this?

Spoke to a fellow shooter a day or so ago and he said he normally kept a loaded just in case gun in his bedroom. He said after seeing the looting and criminal activity, he cleaned out his safe and now has various weapons and ammo staged through out his house and outbuilding.

I went from having only my CCW 9mm out of the safe at night, to the 9mm, another 9mm with a light, and a .410; all within easy reach in the bedroom. Honestly I don't expect to need any of them, but.....

So the rioters say the next step is to raid the suburbs.

I kinda wish they would.
Truth is, it's been awful dull around here the last few months.

Now that's a real Texan thing to say.

I've alway had things staged around. I just have more mags loaded and a few vests/belts set up to match them for easier grabbing reloads and kit. Instead of saying I should get around to loading a bunch of mags and setting up some gear, I've actually gotten around to doing it now.

I love that PSA KS47 8.5" AK/AR hybrid. A little more range time and it will probably replace the AR in the top drawer of my chest of drawers. But man, I hope I never actually have to put on that chest rig with 6 mags for real. That thing is HEAVY for an old man. Compared to a loaded, 8 mag chest rig for the AR the AR rig is a lightweight. I guess I need to add some exercises in to strengthen up my bad back. LOL.

I have heard that the intent is to hit suburban and rural areas to show them they aren't safe either. That could be rumor, but it makes excellent sense from a terroristic and strategic viewpoint. But only if they feel they are ready to follow through on the next stages and go full coup/civil war if their hope to force Martial Law thing doesn't work in their favor.

I think for the most part though, outside of the demorat cities most Texans are of the, "OH HELL NO!" attitude still. San Antonio may be demorat controlled these days, but you see what happened when the insurgent rioters started messing with the Alamo.

I don't see good things in the future at all. Doesn't mean we don't give it all and die fighting for the America we love and have lived our lives believing in.

Here in Floyd county we are not overly concerned.

However current standby includes a Winchester model seventy in .300 H&H magnum, A Noveske rogue hunter, A Winchester model 92 in .45 Colt, An Ed Brown special forces, A Colt Delta elite, and a Colt Government model all ready to go. And that is just the bedroom. We have options.

I like how you think.

Bedroom starts with the M9A1 with TLR-1 on the nightstand. Top drawer of the nightstand are the carry guns. The usual run errands in little town Glock 43 and extra mags, the Glock 30s .45 with an extra 13 round mag, another Beretta M9, and somewhere in there is a S&W Bodyguard .380 in a belly band from when I was deep conceal carrying at work against corporate policy. Of course from get up to lay down one of those carry guns is on me at all times. And it ain't the .380.

If I have to get out of bed to shoot some tool, then I have the AR in the top drawer of the chest of drawers with a light on it. In addition the mag full of 64 grain Speer Gold Dots, there is a 4 mag pouch I can sling over a shoulder filled with the same. In the bottom drawer is the KS47 with a 20 round mag of 7.62X39. I'm pretty confident in it so far, but as noted above it will take some more range time to get the full green light.

Yep, that's just the bedroom.

I just had to include this for Cavelamb.

I thought this fight would be us against a Federal government-turned-tyrant --

But instead, what we're facing is the Tyrants playing their card too early -- we *can* stop them. I'm hoping it can happen at the ballot box. But I don't care anymore how it happens -- it has to happen.

I still want peace but it's plain they don't. They can't be allowed to further infiltrate the
Federal government.

To paraphrase a certain Admiral from a long-ago time, watching our Senators, Top Cops and others knee in front of these people has filled me with a terrible resolve, and i fear they have woken a sleeping tiger. I'm speaking of the nation, not just me.

I do have one word: Revolting. It literally was revolting to watch our "leaders" kneel. What's next, a kowtow? It is revolting to me, like an animal carcass that's days-old and nature is feasting on it. That's how revolting it is to me. I can't look anymore. I fear I may spontaneously combust if I do!

Honestly.....this "Defunding the Police" and the subsequent outcry by those saying "The streets will be filled with blood when they defund the police", is a bunch of nonsense that hasn't been thought out.

This is so frickin simple it's comical.

When the Minneapolis Police Department gets "defunded", the responsibility for law enforcement will fall to the Hennepin County Sheriff Dept. The funding to do so will come from the current MPD budget.

It's already happened in Camden NJ almost 8 yrs ago.

This is a big fat nothing burger.

If there are laws, there will always be law enforcement..

Maybe so, but what Old Grey said rings bells.
Loudly.
But I don't think he was only talking about defunding police departments.
I think he was looking at it a lot deeper than that.

Those libtards are not going to defund anything. They will do some little smoke and mirrors play and their base will fall for it. And everything will go on as usual.

This is about the long and the short of it right here.

They will make some motions and maybe fund a few feel good programs. But that is about as far as it will go. They know that if they go to far and let crime get out of control. Then the republicans will capitalize on it during the next election cycle. The pendulum never stops swinging.

The pendulum is swinging. But i feel a stacked court among other things may tie a rope around it to keep it on the left. Stacked court and elections may have enough on the left to out the electoral college so they say. I say next to impossible on the electoral college thing. To many things many said will never happen...have. It may be a while longer but protect you and your own may be the only thing left. Dont know about you guys but i never thought id see this happening in my lifetime
