I am loving this gun. Don't really plan on changing much. Maybe a black rear sight. Those eagle wing grips I see on others sure do look sharp.

You guys are killing me with those photos! Those are some very nice guns!

A few pix of one of my SR's, this one has a Wilson Combat trigger, a Colt arched mainspring housing, & barrel bushing, and a pair
of Chip McCormick eight round Shooting Star magazines, this is my main carry piece, my go to gat!

A photo of the same gun with my 1911 practice piece, A Colt Govt. 22LR, I use a Done Hume J.I.T. Slide with all of my 1911's.
It is a whole lot cheaper to get 1911 trigger time with a 1911/22!

My main carry blade, an N.R.A. 1911 Tactical, serial# 409, with Ruger grips of course! These knives will take any style 1911 grip.
Knife closes with the mag release button. These are extremely high quality knives that you can get from your N.R.A. catalog.

I guess start with Ruger SR1911 and SR1911CMD

And then the boxes, etc.

The Eagelwings grips from Ruger of course. I love these grips.

Then a Ruger SR1911CMD with a Colt SS Commander made in 1991 or so with new trigger and grips from the old Ajax company. I did this for a thread pointing out one could buy an old Colt Commander for less money than a new Ruger Commander and 10 years down the road what would be worth more.

Changed out the Mexican cartel-ish reaper grips with something more practical, VZ Recon in Dirty Olive.

Picked up today at Sportsman's Warehouse

Got a great price on these two. The full size looked lonely without the Commander.....So they both came home with me.

Added some stuff to my commander. VZ grips, 10-8 rear sight that works well with the gold bead front.
