**PREMIUM AMMO SOURCES** Federal HST, Winchester Ranger, Speer Gold Dot, Etc.

Is this just a round that is only available to Law Enforcement? I haven't been able to locate this ammo in any of my local gun shops. Is this something that may be only available online? Also, the cheapest place? Thanks.....

Not sure if Streicher's sells to civilians any more (they definitely used to) but they have it:

I've had good results with both SGAmmo and Streichers. Fast shipping and good prices.

9BPLE +P+ for $17.00 box or $315.00 per case

I don't know where in SC you are, but check Lawmens. They have the Federal LE contract for most of NC and SC. Not available on their website, though...

+1 on SGAmmo as well. Good prices even with shipping - and they typically tell you up front the cost so you don't have to wait until check out time.

I have the .40 and .45 Federal HST in my stock pile. Pricey but its worth it for self defense.

Check this review...

Without outing anyone in particular (Senior Member must mean Senior Moment in this thread), and as much as we're a loosely knit 'fraternity' of like-minded individuals who rally around a common cause, why would you ID your best premium ammo source to hundreds/thousands of strangers, especially in a buying climate like this when even a pallet of your favorite stuff can evaporate in an hour once word gets out? Not being mean; just practical.

Jesus tells me to love my neighbor, but I wouldn't tell my neighbor where the only spring in the desert is, if my daughter and I are desert dwellers. Know what I mean? I'll bring you water, but I won't tell you where it is. ; )

It's not a bad idea, to keep ammo sources a bit more quiet right now. I'll send the OP a PM.

Another Source

Try CDNN. They seem to have lots(when things were normal). That's where I got my Win Rangers. They sell by the box or case or pallett..
BTW. They do have an age/ID procedure. Just fax them a DL, and affidavett, and you'll be G2G.

good luck!
