Magwell on Sig?

I assume Sig only changed the upper slide and the rest of the bottom-end is standard 1911. So with that said, I just wanted confirmation that any aftermarket Magwell (Kimber, Wilson, etc) should have no problems fitting. Gun is a GSR Revolution, full size.

BTW--great gun. Just as accurate as my Kimber Custom Shop models.

I just ordered this for my PT-1911, if you have standard grips / screw positions this should fit.

I had a few polymer magwells (exactly like the metal one you posted) that someone gave me and I tried those on the Sig and a couple of other 1911's I had. I now understood why he gave them to me. The grips no longer sat flush on the frame at the bottom. I suppose I could have filed-off that area on some wooden grips I had to compensate, but it just didn't seem like a good solution.

Let me know how the metal one works out for you.

I have my dremel and sandpaper ready to make them a flush fit... Should not take to long to make them look OEM on there.

I installed an Ed Brown Magwell and MSH on my full size Sig. Fits nice.

Thanks. I'm looking at the Wilson magwell/msh and it seems to be a good solution as well. Plus, for some reason they don't require the magwell grips as they recommend the normal beveled grips for their magwell/msh.
