I have seen a couple in gun stores down here recently in the low $600s, like $615 and $600. Don't know if they would sell them for less if you tried to negotiate a lower price.

I sold one to a good friend last year for $500. I had picked up a couple new ones at the end of 2012 for $590. I kept the one which made smaller groups at 25 yards. The other one I loaned to shooting friends who wanted to try a 1911 or a Ruger SR1911. Finally one friend really wanted to buy it so sold it to him. He still has it and loves it.

Most of the solid 1911's seem to be just as good new as with a few thousand rounds through them.
