SS Rail Redux... Pics!

This one had some bad smithing done and the customer had a limited budget. I was able to rework the existing beavertail , complete a carry bevel , fix the magwell ,blend the back side of the slide to frame , action job , Harrison rear sight , new Novak front sight ,and a few other odds & ends .Then finished in a satin matte bead blast.

Great transformation, Louie. I think the most fun you can have as a gunsmith is straightening one of these projects out for someone. It's fun to test yourself and see what solutions you can come up with to mend the missteps taken the first time around.
