Hello from Atlanta GA

Hey everyone. I'm a fairly new 1911 owner, carried one for about 5 months now. I used to carry a glock but didn't like the feel/concealability (if that's a word). The first time I held a 1911 I knew it was meant to be. Im in my mid 20's but grew up in a firearm loving family so ive been gaining firearm knowledge and experience since before I was 10. I can't seem to get enough 1911 so here I am, to learn more about 1911's and hear from more experienced shooters. Glad to be here.

Right back at ya, Brandon. I'm a native born Atlantan currently living in Maryland and am very much into 1911s. Fortunately Maryland hasn't banned them...yet. Which 1911 did you choose?

Sup from Lawrenceville! yea man, 1911 is just too dang nice. I tried glocks, m&p, etc polymers, all good guns but I don't shoot much so I decided I might as well carry something with style

Recommend you check out Autrey's Armory on Tuesday nights (about 1800 hrs.). Good group of shooters...many Single Stacks, you will have fun and learn a lot from some very experienced shooters.

Autrey's has been my usual spot for several years now. Never made it out at that time though. Thanks for the tip HarryO45 I'll check it out around then

Though I stem from the Peach State of Georgia (Warner Robins), I now rest my head in the Rockies of Colorado. Welcome to the forum!
