New Carry Piece

It's on the way. I sure didn't need another 1911, but I couldn't resist. I have 2 Colts, 1 Kimber, and now will have 2 Sig's, as well as a SAS 938, and a 238. If this shoots as perfect as my Nightmare, it will be money well spent. Any issues I should know about, even though I put the cart before the horse?

Yeah, don't use amoniated cleaners on it. Like Hopies #9

Have one that has been completely reliable. She is a bit heavy but makes up for it with a softer recoil. Didn't care for the grips which were quickly replaced with VZ Operators II.

New member here, 1st post.

Picked this 1911CO-45-NI last week, pre-owned, shot very little. Saw it on Tuesday, bought it on Wednesday and was at the range on Thursday. Outstanding shooter, guy @ the range 4 lanes down stopped by my lane to see what I was shooting, that p[retty much sums up just how well this handgun shoots.

Finally made time to go pick it up. This is typical Sig with excellent fit and finish. Everything is tight, and no rattles. I'm not sure if I like the grips or not, time will tell.

This is a beautiful pistol...congrats.

I was looking at getting this same exact model. I ended up going with a 4'' aluminum frame 1911.

Who knows, maybe someday I'll jump for this model as another carry piece.

Just returned from putting 300 rounds through it. It's remarkably accurate, and I had exactly zero issues. I knew I would love it, and I do.

Very true. It's hard to understand how some of this "information" gets here. SIG makes good and underrated pistols imo. I'm sure you'll like, if not love, yours, 702.

I'm with you on this. I only have 4 Sigs, but the quality is much higher than my Colt Defender and my Kimber Ultra Carry II. I also have a 2016 Colt Delta Elite that I've done a bunch of work to, and it's only as good as my Sig's because I made it so.

Just echoing 702's (and others) impression / opinion of just how well this particular handgun shoots.

If you have any intention of carrying, holsters are just a little bit hard to find.

I just ordered, from Garrett Industries, a STX 2.0 (Silent Thunder) OWB.

That's the nickle right? I am very tempted, nice looking, I almost bought one till I found out it wasn't really nickle, I wonder how the PVD finish holds up?
I know from experience their nitron finish is fantastic but the jury is still out on their PVD legions I have.
