MIM parts

I was told by a friend of mine that Les Baer and Wilson guns have MIM parts in them supplied by Taurus. I told him thats crazy, for the money they charge plus the fact that they specifically state that there are no MIM parts in their guns. Comments?

I heard Taurus MIM parts are actually made by extra terrestrials.

Your friend's comment and mine are pretty much at the same level of truth.

Let me guess, he owns a Taurus and was explaining why everyone paying the big bucks for a Baer or Wilson were nuts.

BTW, ssshhhh, but Brown is the one that uses MIM parts from Taurus.

If they specifically state there are no MIM parts in their guns I would think it safe to assume there are no MIM parts in their guns.

Since JohnMBrowning worked for Taurus for years and developed the 1911 and 1911 A1, as well as the BAR and others, while with them I think Taurus is probably the best. All the flak over Taurus is propaganda from lesser , jealous makers ... Cplt, SA, Kimber, Baer, Brown, Wilson, etc, etc.

Long live Taurus! I will buy your lesser guns so you can go get that Taurus. Always willing to help.

BTW, none of my current 38 handguns are Taurus but I have had a couple of their revolvers that performed just fine. A buddy has one of their 686 look-alikes that outshoots my real 686! Pees me off.

If a company states that they use no MIM parts, why the question?

There is no reason to continue this thread. Closed.
