S.D Myres

I was reading that Barranti Leather has bought the rights to the S.D. Myres name, and they have original Myres patterns.
I thought the Myres company was bought by El Paso Saddlery, decades ago, and they owned the original patterns?
Could both be true (EPS owned and sold the name, Barranti has acquired some patterns that EPS didn't have or didn't want)?
If you're not shooting you should be moving. If you're not moving you should be reloading. If you're not shooting, moving, or reloading, you should be taping or picking brass. - Z.C.

You can probably get the straight story on the Colt Forum.

Famed holster designer Red Nicohols is now posting there.
He has a new holster history book out and has a large amount of documents from holster makers. He posts in the Leather and Accessories section.......
