Very good. Nothing in the Bible suggests taking a "do nothing", "head in the sand" pathway during our earthly lives. Good to be prepared.

Reference Luke 22:36. There are many examples of analogies/hyperbole such as Matthew 5:29 that are not to be taken literally. I'm not saying you're reference is wrong but after reading several commentaries, I'm not convinced Luke 22:36 is to be taken literally. I could go into great detail about the context it was stated in and some of Jesus' other scripture that would be counter to the violent response that we might think this scripture is suggesting, but I won't.
I'm only bringing this up because we in the pro 2A community need to have our stuff together when we quote Jesus, Constitution, law, etc.
