My new Engraved 1911 model!

So I decided I need another 1911 and no longer own one. I've previously had a couple Kimbers, Sig, Springfield, and Colt, but always sold them off since I didn't really have a need for them and normally stick with my plastic guns for carry. Well I always come back lol, and this time I did some homework before picking out the S&W. My son and I started shooting in a defensive pistol league and I thought something a little more "racy" might be fun.

I went into the store with the intention of buying the S&W but did handle and look over a Springfield RO Elite and a Kimber Gold Match II. Man the Kimber had a great trigger but kinda boringly plain. The Springer was really nice but wasn't stainless which is what I wanted. I ended up sticking with the S&W and man I can't believe the features you get for the money. Custom looking slide serrations, undercuts, and checkering galore! I wasn't really looking for an engraved BBQ gun but it was on sale and stainless like I wanted. Now if they could just stop putting the stupid magazine warning on the slide which kind of ruins the whole engraving thing!

The salesman claimed this model has been gone over by the performance shop before going out the door? I haven't heard that and I'm not sure he knew what he was talking about? Everything seems to fit tight and the machining is great! I can't believe how many people scoff at this simply because of an external (Better IMO) extractor. I can't wait to put some rounds through it this weekend and see how she runs!

I could use some suggestions for a magwell. This won't be a carry gun, just range and competition. I don't want something gigantic but I don't want a minimal carry magwell. I also need some decent competition sights, I'd prefer thin ones rather than big bright self defense dots. Suggestions on a magwell and sights that don't break the bank would be appreciated!
