Ruger American ranch rifle in 7.62x39

Does anyone here have experience with one? I placed an order for one through my LGS yesterday. It's going to be mostly used as a range toy, but it could be a handy little rifle for other uses too. It takes mini 30 mags. It's a relatively inexpensive rifle that should be cheap to shoot in that caliber.

I had + loved a SKS in 7.62. Really fun to shoot. The ammo is cheap. But some brands of ammo (you tube) (I know it's sacrilege) are not good. Check it out. And shoot it a lot. I used to shoot at least 100 rounds every range trip with my SKS.
