Kobra Carry Arrival

Well, after a rather disappointing first attempt at an Ed Brown a couple years ago I always knew the only way I would own was a pre-owned and a SS Kobra Carry. After a solid year, low and behold -- one popped up on GB at the right price and BAM, she's mine

I had always heard, and could see from pictures, that Brown stainless was something special but I had never seen one in person.

After picking her up today I can honestly say I was delighted and really blown away at the color and the grip factor of the snakeskin treatment.

I'm a delighted owner who sadly won't be able to shoot her for a week or so.

Very nice, congrats! Their stainless is extremely nice looking and holds up well to years of holstering.

Very nice looking!!! Ed Brown IMO makes the best looking stainless steel 1911s. Don't forget to add that good looking pistoll to your signature line.

I would own a Kobra Carry in 9mm if Ed Brown hadn't launched the KC9 (which I really have liked)

Not disappointed but thought they would be right there with my other guns. In all fairness, my Sig and Springer are not stock guns at all. They are also in 9mm. I have more money in them than the $3K I paid for the EB. Shooting it more has helped some. Love the fit/finish. I like the EB and would recommend to anyone

Congrats on a classy pistol! I definitely love the fit, finish, feel and aesthetics of my KC. EB’s frosted stainless finish is definitely a thing of beauty.

Nice catch, know you'll enjoy the KC. I've been watching for a 38 Super in SS for a while and beginning to believe they don't exist ..

Nice. I'm not a snakeskin guy as it's too slick for me. My Brown's have checkering or the old Chain link. But there's no denying...... nobody does stainless like Brown, including both companies that call Berryville Arkansas home.

It sounds like a good place to do some shopping.
