ROE Target - Front sight fiber replacement

How do you change out the fiber in the front sight? I've had Dawson sights where you could just snip the fiber out and replace it. The fiber in the sight is receded. Any tips?

If it is anything like the fiber optic on the EMP I changed to red from green-I just snipped out the old one-heated a piece of red fiber rod on one end until it was belled=slid into the sight-clipped it a little long and heated with a little torch until it was belled on the other end.

I use a small nail clipper. If I can just get a little snip, the FO rods seem to break.
