I am new to this site. Not new to 1911s. I have bee shooting Bullseye/conventional pistol/precision pistol for a few decades. Do not know why it has taken so long to get here.
I have two 1911s...one is a Springfield "loaded" that I bought used. The other is a series 80 Gold Cup that was further worked by the Late George Madore (kinda dates me). That is my match gun.
Been to Camp Perry.

Welcome to the site from Italy.

Anything with a FLGR is fluff, if JMB didn't put it on the 1911 you don't need it.
If you are going to collect, don't be 'drawn' to an example that is not original, nor correct. Instant gratification is more expensive than a good education.
