I did a Bad Bad thing.

Went to the Regional Big Box Farm store to pick up some 9mm ammo on sale. When I got there two clerks were looking at the 45 ACP display. They had some Winchester, Blazer Brass and Federal on clearance price plus take an additional 25% off. Iím looking at 45 ACP for $.18, $.20 and $.22 per round depending on brand. I commented that was a sweet deal but I donít shoot 45 ACP. Then they told me that some of the guns were clearance price plus an additional 25% off. I go over to the gun counter and the clerk pulls out a Springfield Armory 1911 RO in 45ACP. He tells me the price is $547 after the discount. I'm thinking itís a great price but I donít shoot 45ACP. Then I put two and two together and walked out with a new 1911 and 2200 rounds of 45 ACP ammo for just a hair over $1,000. Now Iím going to have to learn how to shoot a 1911 chambered in 45ACP. I did a bad bad thing.

If that is a bad thing . I'd like to know what you think a great thing is .

Someone offers you a 24,000,000,000.00 for 240,000.00 . You must
get some killer deals on stuff .

Have fun shooting 45 Let us know what you think . Maybe share some
pictures

Do you mind disclosing the name of the store? Sick deal. And you're going to love the 1911 in .45.

I was in the market for a 1911 but wanted 9mm because all my pistols are 9mm. At that price I just couldnít resist, especially with the price they had on ammo.

Hey, our wives use this logic all the time. You saved HUGE bucks on the ammo! It's all good.

You sound like the guy who went to the store to get his wife some tampons - and the salesman sold you a new fishing boat with truck.

SCORE SQUARED!

Has the neighborhood warmed up a little? We're about 15 degrees above normal in the PNW!
