9mm loads for Steel Challenge matches....

I have some 95gr. jacketed flat point bullets that are .355" diameter. Has anyone worked up an accurate 9mm load with 95 gr. bullets that will function properly in a 1911 or STI 2011 gun for steel matches?

I am hoping to find reloading data that will shoot at least a 1.5" five-shot group center to center at 25 yards.....has anyone had success using 95 gr. bullets....?

Never gone that light. I'd be interested to see where this leads you, Rwe.
Feared the extremely short COL would not feed as smoothly for 1911/2011.
3.5gr Clays or 4.2gr HP-38/W231 have both made decent 'gamer" loads with coated 115gr.

Maybe try 4.0, 4.1, 4.2gr W231 under the 95's with a 9#. Try some Clays working up from 3.1gr too.

5.0gr WW231
5.6gr VV330
Both work great for a 95gr 9mm bullet. VV330 is very clean. JP
