Midrange .45 Hollowpoint

Asym loads a 185 gr JHP to 775 fps instead of the traditional midrange SWC.
Does anybody else?
Atlanta Arms AMU is doing 920 fps, way more than I want.

I can of course handload to suit and have Magnus (Zero) bullets on order for the purpose. But some factory would be good.

Jim, Wilson Combat shows both new and reloaded 200gr HAP hollow points at around 865 fps. HAP's have a good reputation for accuracy.

I know, but that is about 90fps fast. Just as well shoot XTPs. Ouch, my recoil tolerance is way down.

I tried some 185gr. Hornady Critical Defense, recoil was very mild, compared to the Speer 230 gr. Gold Dots I carry.
