1911 new or used

looking for some advise. I'm ready to buy a 1911. I had my search narrowed down to a Ruger sr1911, springfield range officer and Kimber stainless II. all are new government size in .45. Now comes the problem, Ive stumbled accross a Kimber classic Gold Match that is used but is in excellent condition. its a series 1 so its 20 years old but it is very nice and tight with little to no wear. from what i've read the Gold match series 1 is highly regarded as a great 1911. As for price the Gold Match is about 100.00 less than the other 3 new guns. What would you do?

I'd buy it! A friend with a Gold Match brags it's the best shooting 1911 he owns, and he owns a bunch of 'em.

Buy it! Especially if it's cheaper than the others you listed.

Buy it or let us know where it's located, it will be gone by tomorrow!

It's impossible to render a 1911 inoperable through use and proper maintenance!

Bubba "Smiff" is more hazardous

I believe the older Gold Match's came with a factory accuracy guarantee. As long as it has NOT been fixed, worked on, altered, made better by Bubba Smith' I would not hesitate to buy a 20 year old 1911.

I think I'd buy it, sounds like a nice older gun.

My original series Gold Combat is the best shooting Kimber I've ever owned.
