Hk USP.45

20 yards offhand twohanded. First shots, really impressed with it.

Very nice, but tell us more about the gun, how does she feel in recoil, how are the controls, how does it compare to a 1911, what 45 loads where you using, etc., etc...I can see it is accurate, but can't tell anything else about this gun (which does have a fine reputation).

Consider getting a can for it.

I picked up a H&K Mark 23 a few years ago and loved it right out of the box. It is the most accurate pistol that I have. And I have a bunch of them. When I put a can on it, it tightened the groups up even more.

Its recoil reduction system seems to work darn well. It is comfortable to shoot imitating more a 9 mm than a 45. In terms of accuracy shoots as well as a 1911, imo. Being shooting 230 grain federal with no issues so far. It's a 1998 USP 45 and its finishing has held pretty good.

I've got a USP 9c and love it. However when I was looking for another 45, I went with the HK45c, just like the feel of it better, better price point to. They are both completely flawless.

I have a USP .40 and a USPC .45 and love them both. My USP .40 sits in my SHTF gun grab bag.

USP 45 is built like a tank. Recoil is minimal. I have 4 2 of which are the Light LEM Trigger. You will truly enjoy shooting 45 with this gun

Shooting offhand at 15 yards. At first I was shooting low, but then I made aim adjustments my last two shots resulted from it. Total of six shots.

I have a problem. Every time I go to G.T. Distributors to pick up some new boots or other equipment. I find a law enforcement trade in. The last time was a H&K U.S.P. compact in 45. I converted it to a L.E.M. trigger system. It's been sitting in my gun safe for the last several months. I took it out today. What an enjoyable and accurate pistol to shoot. I am going to start carrying it a lot more.
