1911forum Ads

Does anyone else get ads like these sent to their email? I get them fairly often and wondering if they are actually associated with the forum. I’ve never clicked on any of the links, much less claimed my free knife/flashlight/whatever they are giving away.

Moderators, if this is inappropriate, please delete.

I don't know what this is all about. I have not received an email of this type. But, I will run it up the Staff flagpole and see what I can find out.

I've been getting them for maybe a year , haven't really kept track . I have no inside info but believe it's just another form of revenue for the forum owners . I don't follow the links , I just delete also .

My email came from:

[email protected]

Does this mean they are real offers and not spam?

One simple keystroke. Delete. Or set up a filter.

Also should be a "unsubscribe" button at the bottom, though if it was a one time thing then there might not be one. Let me know what you see
