Police say the homeowner will not face charges.

Many would still be alive if not for Gun Free Zones.

Georgia has castle doctrine. It is very unwise for anyone to enter someone elses home unlawfully.

From linked article:

"FOX 5 has learned the 28-year-old was also charged with criminal trespass just three weeks ago. In that (earlier) case, a homeowner on Lucille Avenue found White inside his home. That homeowner left, called 911 and arrested White.

"We do advise homeowners to exit the property and call the police so we can handle it," said Officer Brown."

So law enforcement was called on the same scumbag for the same vile crime just three weeks before the current illegal break-in/entry?

And despite the arrest, the scumbag is promptly released; set free to continue in his criminal ways.

One wonders, how much is accomplished by calling the police when the scumbag thug is then promptly released?

I thoroughly understand that LEO is not the same as the judicial and prosecutorial systems. In other words, I'm not criticizing the responding LEOs; they did their part in arresting the scumbag. Nor am I criticizing the advice to avoid placing one's self in danger, when such might be avoided.

Instead, my point is that scumbag problems aren't addressed very effectively by a "catch and then release" leftist/Dem judicial system.

I cannot say that I'm really happy that the scumbag is still around.

I just read in the local news about a 30-time DUI offender who just got into yet another accident a few weeks ago. This is what ticks me off about new gun laws more than anything... what good are ANY laws when the people who break them serve next to no jail time and just keep committing the same crimes over and over???
Avoid the temptation to replace everything on your brand-new 1911 just to make it "better". Know what you're changing out and why. You may spend a lot of money fixing things that weren't broken to begin with. Shoot at least 500 rounds through it first, then decide what you don't like and want to improve. Regarding vintage 1911s, pre-1970 pistols are highly collectible in original, unaltered condition and should NEVER be refinished or modified as it completely ruins their monetary value.

Unfortunately most Urban Police Depts and Courts are in the "Catch and Release" program. That's just the way it is becoming.

We have the Castle Doctrine and Stand Your Grounds laws here, so there's that.
