PC1911 opportunity

This pistol is up for sale in my area.
Owner claims he only ran 50 rounds through it and is selling to purchase an STI.
What would be a fair price to pay for this? I'm tempted.

As always, be sure the sights and other specs are "right" for you.

If they are, and you could get the gun for around $1,000, it looks like a nice acquisition.

If they are not, then even a fair price is not going to be a bargain for you.

I found a used one in 2015 with box, etc. for a little over $900 from a LGS. The fired case dates it to early 2014. I was going to replace the blue grips but they feel fine when I shoot it so I have left them on it.

I really enjoy mine. It does have a Briley barrel bushing and the extra wide Perf Center external extractor.

I've considered purchasing a S&W PC 1911 but don't the front iron sight. Has anyone replaced the front iron sight for a white dot or fiber optic front sight? If so, what did you install?

Dawson Precision is the way to go. Need to get the Pro sight though. Height is up to you. I got the .180 but a .160 will work too.
