And my all time favorite from 1969:

Colt 1851 Navy Copy

This is my Cooper a patent infringement of the Colt 1851 Navy. It is not a 1911 but really related to a Colt. As it is a copy by making it double action. .31 caliber 5 shot Cap and Ball

This is a commercial Colt Government Model made in the 1930s. I ordered a Sistema, and this is what they sent me for my $300. Put some ivory grips on it, changed a couple of springs and the mag. Otherwise, it is stock 1930s, and all parts appear to be 1930s Colt commercial.

1st attempt

Here is kind of a "Test". This is my first try at posting a picture. The gun is a SA GI with US grips.

Nice photo, Tony. You're a better photographer than I. Oh, nice gun, too, though I don't really go for the US grips. I want a GI.

Jim, I don't know about the two on the right, but it looks like you have an enviable collection.

Off-topic, I know, but I think the Hi-Power is nearly as cool as the 1911. BTW, I do think the P7's are pretty cool, for a German gun. They do have interesting grip safeties.
