Here is a picture of our latest Turnbull Model 1911! The frame and hammer have our signature color case hardening; the pins, screws, slide stop, thumb release and trigger have the nitre blue; remaining parts have been charcoal blued. This model is based off of an early 1918. Price has been set at $1,995

I want to have my frame color case hardened and the slide polished and deep blued.
How much does something like that usually run and what kind of turnaround time should I expect?

Thumbs down

Wanted to have an early National Match slide refinished. Talked to your rep at the PA Forks Historical Arms show in the fall. Several emails have gone unanswered.

Thanks Todd,

I sent a response via that link with pic. The gun , a 1960 Colt NM is in excellent original condition except for a small brown stripe along the top of the left side where the box probably got damp. No pitting , the blue just turned brown. I can even polish it out myself. I just want the bluing to match the frame yet do not want a complete reblue. The bluing looks different from my later NM's.

Thanks again!
