I’m enamored with this.

Very impressive design - no grip panels, etc.

The marketing materials are also quite impressive - especially the size comparisons. As usual, first rate.

I do hope they’ve tested this size as throughly as they did the X9. That sub-4” barrel has been a booger with reliability, at least in my hands.

Agreed that size comparison was really well done.

Yep, just got the email.

Pretty cool at Glock 43 size, but I like the larger size for carry like the EDC X9 size.

Still, very cool.

(Why do I feel like I'll end up with one, a X9 and a X9L?)

As always, WC product's are superb. However, I'm not a fan of any gun smaller than 4" whether plastic or 1911ish for SD, but the 3ers do have their place in limit application for me (like when I am in the shower :-) - its true (and if carry was legal around here when out running))...Best I don't use a $2k+ gun for the shower and I find my XDs in 185 gr works just fine in this application (grease it once a year and you are good to go)...The X9s might even make a good BUG too...

And lets see who the first person will be to asked for a comped-version of this new offering...I have two "regular's" in mind, and I'm not one of them - LOL!

Will be looking forward to handling one and shooting one, very promising. I’m pretty much all set with 4”, 4 1/4” and 5” guns but a small little 9 sounds very appealing. When I don’t want to carry a “real gun”, I usually carry my old P238. This could end up being a replacement for that.

First new Wilson that I have been kind of excited about in some time.

Edit to add that I would definitely get the non railed version.

This is another really cool design. The more times I watch the video, the more I'm liking it.
It comes with one 10-round magazine and one 15-round magazine.

Comes with or without lightrail.

I'm not much for carry guns with smaller than 4-inch barrels. But Wilson may have something special with this particular double-stack, high capacity design on a short slide.

Trying to order one right now......will update as it progresses

I usually use a 938 as my smallest gun but this looks like it can take over that role and be more comfortable to shoot (no spots that tear the hands up) and faster and easily more accurate. Only thing I note that may be sub optimal is the mag is super flush meaning reloads may pose a slight issue with the 10 rounders

Just now saw the email.

Looks like a truly superb-for-its-niche gun. I can image the groans from builders of competitor products. I suspect that their products are now in a second tier category in comparison to this new Wilson.

Not my size, I prefer larger carry guns, but this in no way diminishes what appears to be another winner for WC and customers for this size of carry gun.

I think the intention, with the mags it comes with, is carry with the 10 rounder, and if reload is needed the 15 rounder is you spare to speed-reload with.

While the price point probably does not have the other makers "shaking in their boots", I fully suspect this little gun will end up doing well for them (knowing how Wilson develops and tests the crap out of new product offerings). Although it won't be my primary carry gun (my Pro's ideally fit that role), I have been considering something small and light for "very discreet" carry when needed - along the lines of the P365 or Sig's 938, and this offering from Wilson has caught my interest for that role when a regular sized carry gun would not be concealable enough or something for more physically active sports is needed for carry.

Thanks and will do, if it's done in time for be bash it will be coming along.

On an RMR and comp........this size class is defined by being tiny so I wouldn't have interest in those features in this guns use case since small as possible is the goal. I still want those options for the normal X9 though.....and I still want an all steel full-size version for open class so all my guns can be WC from carry to 3-gun

Hmm, my daughter wants my EDC X9. But, this X9S may be better suited for her conceal carry needs. She wants to carry on her person, not in a purse.

She shoots my EDC X9 way better than her Springfield XDS. I am just not convinced that she will actually carry much. I would buy one in a heart beat if I knew that it would work for her and the she would actually carry it.
