The guy deserves the recognition.
That said, The video of the church shooting reminds me of the video I saw about shopping in Texas...

Nice one Jolly!
Too bad the honor bestowed to the gentleman will never make prime time. Perhaps the president should break in with a special announcement and honor him. The libtards would come unglued and call the hero a criminal. Sick...

There's a picture out there with Mr. Wilson bending over to shake the Governor's hand.
He's printing...

I'm sad innocents were murdered, but glad a citizen ended it!
I'm also glad he is publicly recognized for his courage!

That's great he was recognized!

Kinda funny about the printing though, that's a reason I personally use center-line carry

He was truly the right man in the right place at the right moment in time.

He obviously keeps his skilled honed and his proficiency high.

Many lives were saved because of his actions.

In this upside-down world here’s a bit of history we can be proud of.

It pleases me that in TX they are so unconcerned about a citizen carrying that he's allowed to touch the Governor while armed.

Excellent he got his due recognition...
Excellent he was carrying when he was recognized...
It would be great if President Trump at some point recognizes him also.

I'd like to see Beto O'Rourke try that.

You may spend a lot of money fixing things that weren't broken to begin with. Shoot at least 500 rounds through it first, then decide what you don't like and want to improve. Regarding vintage 1911s, pre-1970 pistols are highly collectible in original, unaltered condition and should NEVER be refinished or modified as it completely ruins their monetary value.

The first man who was shot looks like he was trying to draw a pistol.
Check the video at 8 seconds.

Second guy was just defenseless.

Then Mr. Wilson dropped the perp like a bad habit.

Something tells me that being armed in that situation and the fact that it looks like there is a Desert Eagle under his jacket, is completely on purpose. Fine by me. The freaks in Austin are probably planning a protest!

I really do not see a big deal with him printing in the photo. Printing is not an issue here in Texas and you can open carry in the state capitol if you want.

Mr. Wilson took action and made it happen. That church had a security plan and team trained and in place and it paid off.

No one is arguing any of that, and itís a good thing. I get it if the guy is retired FBI. Not so sure a run of the mill guy would be allowed to pack next to the governor. Folks get a bit twitchy nowadays, but then again, quite some time ago a think a president was taken out in a theatre. These leftists are acting like this is something new.

Was he the Church's security guy?

Either way, being a Texan, he did himself proud.
