45 used to dominate Single Stack and Revolver.

Not anymore.

Open is dominated by 9x19, 38 Super and 38 Supercomp. I have not seen an open 45 in 10+ years.

No, of course not. They are running 9mm or 38super guns with 29 round magazines.

45 is still pretty popular in singlestack because the softer recoil (compared to 40) is more suitable for the elderly participants of the SS division.

You can buy factory 38SC at the store that makes pf for open. I even have a box of it from the prize table at the last match I shot.
