Volquartsen Scorpion

I know....not much of a rimfire group, but I picked up a Scorpion Target model on Black Friday and all I gotta say is OMG. The gun is incredible.

Here is 15 rapid fire shots at 50 ft. I expect to get this thing dialed in further.

I’ll be getting the 6 inch also. I haven’t shot one yet, but just went to YouTube university...
What ammo do they recommend or did you use?

Trying to decide between one of the Volquartsens

Or one of the Vudoos

What kind of ammo were you using?

VQ recommends Wolf Match or CCI standard. I was using the wolf. But it has eaten everything.

The gun is unreal!

I have two Scorpions, 6" and 4.5 with factory installed Vortex Venom sight. Mine are not reliable with CCI SV ammo but work quite well with anything at or above 1200fps.

The only improvement the 6" Scorpion needs is a Dawson FO front sight! The axe blade VQ FO sight is horrible.

I am well pleased with all VQ products.

Wife bought me one for Christmas 2018, the 6" Scorpion. The round count is now closing in on 15,000. Put a Holosun on it, amazing at 100 yards. Eats everything but mostly gets CCI polycoat. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Mine is fed a steady diet of Wolf and Eley. Moving from a Venom to a Razor.
