50 rounds out of my .40 S&W 1911 ranges from 5 yards to 25 yards standard PPC type time limits, standing kneeling and prone position utilized as well as strong and support hand only shots. Don't know why it posted sideways I can assure you it was shot with the correct orientation

I have a 3913 and love it. It is unusually accurate and extremely reliable.

S&W 624 44 special

Took out my 624 with a 4" barrel, which I bought somewhere around 1989, shooting a reload with a 200 grain swc with I think 6.5 grains of Unique. Anyway never disappointed with the accuracy of this gun. Thought I took a pic of the gun but I guess I forgot. Anyway heres some 7, 15 and 25 yard targets all shot double action. Honest.

I took my Springfield XDS 45 to the range and put 25 rounds through the silhouette target at 7 yds and I put 20 rounds through my Springfield Range Officer at 7 yds.

First 7 rounds of the day cold, 20 yards, less than 1 second between rounds.
My new (2-3 weeks old) Colt Wiley Clapp LW Commander, .45 using 230 gr. WWB ball.
1 bad flyer. I'm not a good shot, am working on getting better.

Looks like good shooting to me at 20 yards and one second between shots.

Left: Colt Combat Elite Government .45
Right: Glock 30

7 yards

Doesn't seem to be much difference but the longer sight radius on the Colt helped and it seemed to be inherently more accurate during my time at the range. The Colt is definitely the most accurate pistol I've had, along side the Beretta 92FS.
