Photo of All MIM/Black Parts Replaced with Stainless

Testing to make sure I'm able to post a photo successfully. Been years since I've been on this forum. This is my Ruger SR1911.

Was considering doing that until I put the blue G10 grips on mine. Not sure it would look good with the grips.

I almost went with red, but my wife talked me out of it, LOL. She liked the blue. My Colt Competitions both came with blue G10 grips with Colt in them. I tried them out on this one and it looked good. I put gray ones on my LW Commander.

Looks good Mike. I have the orange/black tiger stripe vz on my lw commander. May have to rethink that.

It is a Smith and Alexander GS PS SS S70. It did require fitting and was the most difficult portion of the build.

The OP has a beautiful Ruger. But, when you add the cost of replacement parts to his purchase price, he might have been better off financially, with a Dan Wesson. And, he still has a cast frame! That frame is suddenly going to crack, melt, or deteriorate in some shape, form, or fashion! Just kidding!
