First Ed Brown today

Found a very lightly used Executive Carry today. I am a big fan of the bobtail commander size guns. The gun store actually had two of these in their used section, I liked the sights on the other one better (not a big fan of 3 dot sights) but that one had a scratch on the front of the slide. That was a major bummer, but hey this ain't a bad second choice.

well done, Brown is super easy and quick with site changes. Takes about 10 days round trip under normal circumstances. Plus, you only need to send the slide which is really nice

That's good to know, I don't love 3 dot sights , so I may just do that. Thanks.

Well, I got a chance to shoot one mag through the Ed Brown EC today. It was a good tight group and was pleased overall, at least until I noticed I didn't have a rear sight anymore. !! I guess that explains why all 7 rounds landed to the left of POA. LOL. I found the rear sight , so I guess I will have a good excuse to send the slide back for a rear sight change. I shot it beside the Dan Wesson V Bob and the two are really , really similar. I might shoot the Ed Brown just a tiny bit better but really to early to early to tell.

You can just slide that rear sight back in and tighten the set screw.

I didn't like the 3 dot sight set up , so I contacted EB and will be sending the slide in for a tactical rear/fiber optic front set up.

Can't argue with that. I went with the 10-8 style rear from Ed Brown:
