Anyway, add another Colt nut to the list. Here's a couple of mine:

Auto Ordnance 1911 WWII Parkerized and it's baby brother.

I just picked it up today.
Pachmayr wraparound grips, 3-dot sight.
Baby brother: one shot blasting cap magazine, fixed sights.

Fell in love with my Gold Cup all over again...

Hi all -- new to the forum here...

A Winchester Valupak of .45ACP made it into my shopping cart at Wal-Mart last night (couldn't resist the temptation!). Today was a beautiful range day, so I pulled out the old Gold Cup from the safe for a little ride in the car. My HK P7M13, HK P7, and KT P357 went on the trip too.

I had forgotten how sweet the Gold Cup was to shoot! Nice tight groups at 25 yards, but drifting a little to the left. No screw driver in the range bag to adjust the sight, so I just compensated a little to the right for this session. This has me interested in 1911s again.

I still seem to shoot better with the HK P7 -- but then it has recieved most of my shooting attention lately. I have the feeling the good price of the Valupak ammo at Walmart will cause me to give my Gold Cup more attention.

I look forward to learning from the experience and minds on here!

Here's my work pair:

The stainless is a DW Pointman Major, and the other is a Colt 1991 A1 commander. Love both of them, maybe going to replace the safety on the commander.
