Nightstand? Revolver.

Downstairs there's a Sig 2022 with one in the chamber, decocked. Prefer the DA/SA in case the wife needs it, no safeties to worry about forgetting in times of stress. Just grab it and make noise.

Pawnshop Stevens 12 ga, sawed off to 18 1/4", full of 00 buck leaning against my nightstand. Safety on. I'll hire someone to clean up the mess.

That may not necessarily be true, because his collar might have some MIM parts on it. I'm kidding of course, because I just read the never ending MIM debate in the General section (well, as much as I could take anyways). Actually, I love that dog, of course, I say that about all dogs though.

They are all so close at hand...

Sig 556 with EOTECH behind bedroom door, H&K FP6 12 gauge in closet, Combat Commander .45 acp and .38 Super in nightstand along with S&W 325PD, Browning High Power and Inglis High Power both 9mm, and a Detonics MkVI Professional .45 acp.

First things first - they have to get past the 116# German Shepard who never really falls asleep...always vigilent he is.

The taurus find either work or they don't. Nothing wrong with them if you got a good one.

Hah! My chocolate lab would lick an intruder so much that I would hear his wet cloths sloshing up the staircase. Not a real vicious breed but sure do love them!
