.38 Special in Living Room Recliner, Beretta 92F in Kydex ZipTied under the Baby's crib (we ran out of room in our small 2 bedroom house, so we made his room from the old dining room) in the center of the house, Master Bedroom I have an AR with all the Goodies and I carry my 1911 Sig TacOps room to room.. Seems a bit much, but home invasions got stupid in our area around Christmas, and I wasn't taking chances with my daughter and newborn son.. And I carry 100% of the time since I returned from Iraq the 2nd time.. I got used to having a weapon on me 24/7, so since I have a permit, I started doing the same thing at home.. We have designated our bedroom as the Fall-To.. So everyone has jobs and duties.. We keep our keys in the bedroom and I even bought a cheap keyless remote for the wife's car and we leave it in our daughters room. And her job is to hit the Panic Button while the wife dials 911.. I recently purchased a pair of Peltor Electronic Ear Muffs and I would like to put them in the nightstand and start using them as well, I think they'd be very beneficial.. All of my Weapons are in Red Status, which means chambered.. My 1911 is also Red and Hammer Back/Safety On.. ALWAYS!! My daughter is old enough to know about guns and not toy around with them, but when that boy starts walking, I am gonna have to rethink things a bit and we may have to purchase a safe.
