The ar lives between the nightstand and the bed. A loaded mag with Winchester PDX is at arm's reach. Tue shotgun is loaded with 00 buck in the tube and slugs in the side saddle in the closet. The Sig 226 .40 is in the laundry room in case there's a daytime threat.
Glock 23 in 40 s&w on nightstand. Glock 20 in 10mm in drawer next to easy chair. My 1911's are carry guns but stay in/near the safe at home. The Glock 23 goes with me on the boat. Just my wife and I and the dogs. If my grandsons come over every firearm in the house is locked up.
Not quite in the nightstand, but close by. Kel-tec KSG loaded with 12 rounds of 12 gauge Federal Tactical #1 buck.
