Didn't see an announcement for the new sub-forum so wanted ask what is it and what is the premium membership? (is that like a site supporter?)

For sure- just wasn't sure if it was a "buy in" or if I could bribe my way in with a box of small rifle primers!

It's a part of the soon-to-be forum software upgrade. I don't think that sub-forum is live yet. Details will follow once they are available.

Regarding vintage 1911s, pre-1970 pistols are highly collectible in original, unaltered condition and should NEVER be refinished or modified as it completely ruins their monetary value.

I just tried it, it is still in the Tech-Induced Coma. I figured that was the case, wet concrete could never set there that long without somebody writing in it. Admin will beat us all to it.

I don't know the secret handshake but I do have plenty of primers of various sizes. The way things these are looking these days I think it would be wiser to hang on to my primers for the time being and hope someone teaches me the handshake.

Trust me, when the Big Change happens you will know it. We will look like the Colt Forum and most other online forum sites that have switched over. Unfortunately the current software is just as old and outdated as Windows XP.

For those of us who saw the Colt change over, we know how well that was received. Folks are still lost in the format, may they Rest In Peace without the member list/search. This is gonna be a spectator sport.

With a premium membership you'll get beautiful women of your choice making house calls so they can give you a neck rub while you surf the forum. At least it was in the demo.

With the standard-level membership you'll just get a dog licking your face.

I think you were a military recruiter in a previous life. ID card in my pocket for 55 years and still waiting on the pretty girls!

And repeated by Woody Allen in "Annie Hall" IIRC. But you are correct in that the first one to say that was Groucho Marx, which most that are still living would not remember...
