officer 9mm recoil spring

Went to gunsprings dot com and looked under colt offiers but there was no 9mm option.

Where can I find one and what is the stock spring rate and the recommended change interval?

Thanks you.

funny you should ask - I called Ruger today, and they dont have a recommended change interval, but they are sending me a new set of triple springs for my officers 45

they dont list them on shopruger.com, but they do have them

called and was told "as long as the firearm is properly maintained, there's no need to worry about the recoil spring"

which begs the same question. How do I maintain it if Ruger doesn't have a recommended change interval?

anyway, i was not offered a replacement spring like you did

next time tell them its failing to return the slide fully to battery - with factory ammunition - and your think the springs are wearing out to the point of affecting reliability. if function is affected, they should replace them for you.
