I have one in the Ruger SR1911-10. Below compared to a SR1911 in 45.

It did sort of surprise me when Ruger put the bull barrel in their 5 inch target pistol in 9mm.

The bull barrel puts significant weight into the pistol, makes the 9mm 1911 a real sweet shooter.

It also slows down the unlocking which also makes it a treat to shoot. Almost all of my 1911s have been fitted with bull barrels and I'm a huge fan.
