Does not really matter what the price of the 1911 is when you start, yes a 600 dollar ruger modded still worth 600, a 2k gold cup still a 2k gold cup you never get the money you put in a weapon customizing it, everyone sets theirs up differently, me i replaced all the springs mainspring change alone dropped trigger pull from almost 6 lbs to 4, changed the firing pin to steel, basically put a set of gold cup springs in it, ill put a s&A magwell on it, already done barrel bushing already polished everything i can, i shoot 200 grain cast behind 5.2 grains 231 to make major power factor, just bringing it to what my gold cups feel like.

I have worked the trigger and now it is excellent. Waiting for my new barrel. The barrel is just to loose at the hood and it strings vertically. Other wise the fit of the beaver tail and frame is excellent. Love the night sights.
