'44 RRand and SW 1911PD

I finally took my RR & SW to the range at the same time. Using the new box of Winchester 230 gr (WM still has the lowest price in town) and a Q target, I figured I'd get the same result.

3 yards - Identical results with 7 rds each. The point of aim was the shoulders (SW-left & RR-right) with a hole the size of a golf ball. On a side note, RR bit me on the first trigger squeeze.

5 yards - Head shots were easy with the sites on the SW; however, the RR was approximately 3 inches higher.

7 yards - Center of the target took a beating from the SW while the RR shot out the area 3 inches higher.

I showed the results to my range instructor and he said, "Nice shooting. Looks like a loose nut behind the wheel!" Outside of the RR drawing first blood, I'm very satisfied with the outcome.

Time to clean these two and put them to bed!
