Spartan - Replace the Sight or just the Insert

I'm working on a Spartan and have stumbled onto Brazos. I know I have to do something with the front sight since the stock "fiber" is horrid. I think it must just be colored plastic. Since I'm going to be ordering their .060 fiber is it worth picking up a replacement sight or just run with the standard front with a new FO insert?

I would order a new dawson front sight. I like the .040 fiber optic over the larger one on the spartan. I also like the front sight a little slimmer than the stock sight. I replaced mine right off the bat with a dawson and am very happy. The dawson is what sits on all my competition guns

Just got back from session with friend. Man the stock front sight on the Spartan is like a billboard compared to my thinner Dawsons on other guns. Of course I blamed the sight for my crappy shooting.

Hello: Get a Dawson fiber front sight that is 0.100" wide. Install a green insert and shoot the crap out of it Thanks, Eric
