Hard to tell the finish on this one from the pics ^
Looks blued but way too shiney.
Duotone, stainless slide and blued frame?



Welcome. A Taurus PT1911 was my first handgun as well. So far I'm happy with it.

Gun

It's a duotone Stainless slide blued frame. Thanks I like it put about 150 through it but had 1 FTE before i noticed the axle grease that Taurus lube's there guns in before shipment. It was a hollowpoint Handload 3 bullet out the gun

I've 350 through mine, 1 FTE in the first 25, not a problem since. 3 kinds of ammo. Probably going to get it to 500 this weekend.

This is my first 1911. My other guns are a Desert Eagle, Glock 22, and Taurus PT99.



I'm quite pleased with the Taurus 1911 model. I know a lot of people say some very negative things about Taurus, but I've never had a problem with either one of the Taurus pistols I own.

This is my IPSC gun that I have been working on. Ran great in last match and now I have added magwell and extended mag release. The gun runs like a sewing machine and I love the caliber.
