CDP (Custom Defensive Pistol) is a 1911 in .45.
ESP (Enhanced Service Pistol) is a 1911 in any other caliber.

While we're at it . . .

The provisional 1911 Single Stack Division (usually abbreviated as PSS or PSSD, although I prefer 1911SS) is a USPSA division. There is no single stack (or Limited or Limited10) in IPSC.

USPSA Divisions:

Limited
Limited 10
Open
Production
Revolver
Provisional 1911 Single Stack

IPSC Divisions:

Modified
Open
Production
Standard

IDPA Divisions:

Stock Service Pistol (SSP)
Enhanced Service Pistol (ESP)
Custom Defensive Pistol (CDP)
Stock Service Revolver (SSR)
Enhanced Service Revolver (ESR)
