SS Grip Screws

Still new to trying to upgrade my PT1911. I see that some of you have SS grip screws with the Raasco Grips. Spoke with the fella at Raasco and he said that Taurus uses a screw with a slightly larger head diameter than standard 1911's. He said that they don't sell Taurus screws but that he would custom bore my Taurus grips to fit the standard screws he sells. That is A+ customer service if you ask me!

On the other hand, where would you order the Taurus stainless screws with the bigger head?

Check with Brownells, Midway or Wilson I'm sure one of them will have a set.

I swapped screws on two different make 1911s with no problem. The head is a bit bigger but it screws in fine and the "standard" screws work just fine also.

Yes, the standard screws (stainless from Wilson) work fine in my PT1911.
