Talking Highly Customized S&W PC1911 .45

I shipped this gorgeous Smith & Wesson PC1911 out earlier this evening. Damn near everything on this beauty has been tweaked and customized. Now we can add mirror polished to the list! :-)

You can see a short HD video clip of the gun at the link below. As always, if the quality doesn't look spectacular in fullscreen, click on the little gear icon in the lower right portion of the video and select 1080p resolution.

Definitely an eminently utilitarian, practical, no-frills handgun. Everything you need and nothing you don't. It even has a bottle opener built into the bottom of the grip.

Avoid the temptation to replace everything on your brand-new 1911 just to make it "better". Know what you're changing out and why. You may spend a lot of money fixing things that weren't broken to begin with. Shoot at least 500 rounds through it first, then decide what you don't like and want to improve. Regarding vintage 1911s, pre-1970 pistols are highly collectible in original, unaltered condition and should NEVER be refinished or modified as it completely ruins their monetary value.

I was a little disappointed that the front sight was stock.
