Lightbulb Patriot Gun Polishing

Hey, guys. My name is Robert Kealy, and I am the owner and president of Patriot Gun Polishing, a metal buffing and polishing business located in sunny Fort Myers, FL. I founded the business in 2003 after my term of service as an infantryman in the United States Marine Corps. Prior to my stint in the military, I had worked with metal in the aerospace industry, but upon returning to civilian life decided to use my previous metalworking experience and the discipline and determination learned in the Corps to open up my own polishing business.

I personally have 15+ years of experience working with metal of all kinds, over 12 years of which are in the polishing sphere. We regularly do work for the aerospace and trucking industry, but we have recently expanded to include firearms as well. As this is a polishing shop and not a gunsmithing shop, I have the tools, experience, and expertise to polish your weapons immaculately, but at a far lower cost than a gunsmith would charge for the service.

I am currently pursuing an MBA and hold a BA in Philosophy with a concentration in Ethics. When dealing with Patriot, you can rest assured that, whether you have sent us a single slide for polishing or large order on which an important contract depends, you are partnered with an ethically-minded company that weighs the interests of its customers heavily. I measure the success of my business not only by its profitability, but also by its solid reputation and the complete satisfaction of its customers. Doing right by my employees, my customers, my neighborhood, and by society in general is one of the foundational ethical principles for me personally and for my company, by extension.

I regularly do work for non-local customers via UPS, FedEx, and the USPS, so if you are not local, I can definitely accommodate. I have an FFL, so you can ship your guns directly to me, and because I perform (technically) a gunsmithing operation on a weapon you already own (i.e. I am not selling or transferring a weapon to you), we can ship your gun right back to you when it is polished. No background checks or local FFL middlemen!

All weapons are prepped, polished, and handled by me and me only. You can rest assured that your gun will never be in the hands of an amateur or trainee. I take great pride in my craft, and guarantee my work 100%. You will receive photos as work progresses and as many photos as you like after your gun is polished.

You can learn more about my service and see a ton of photos at my website www.GunsPolishing.com

Robert, I've looked at your posts as they appear and I've always admired your work. I believe that including your bio and photo is a great way to assure customers who exactly they're dealing with. I can promise you that if I decide to polish a stainless gun, you will be who I'll send it too. Have you ever considered also getting into the blueing business? I love blue guns and 99% of my collection are blue. I also love smooth, polished metal under the blueing. I don't think the investment for the blueing equipment would be much at all. I've personally witnessed one of the top manufacturers, who are always lauded on the Forum, blue guns in plastic buckets and get great results. Just a thought.

Thanks for that, Brad. Personally, I always like to know whom I'm dealing with, especially if I'm sending my prized possessions across state lines to him so he can babysit them for a few weeks I wouldn't want to send my guns to just some anonymous company, or worse, just some dude, on the internet. So I like to let people know who I am.

I will probably break into the bluing game at some point in the future, as I do get requests for it. You'll be the first to know!

Patriot

I had Robert do a job for me a few months ago. I can tell you that his work is first rate, but even more than that, this guy is a gentleman and man of his word. We has a slight mis-communication, but I can tell you Robert made good on his promise of total satisfaction! As a matter of fact I'd say he exceeded it times 10. I totally endorse his work and his customer service. You won't go wrong with this guy.

I appreciate the kind words, Burr! I'm glad I was able to surpass your expectations.

God bless all of Uncle Sam's Misguided Children.
