Wow. That is very pretty, and I'm not one to gush about other people's guns.

Thank you. I was looking for something a bit different from the other 3 in the family, (naked slide ) . This one fits the bill perfectly.

It's drop-dead gorgeous but, I think every 1911 Guncrafter builds is drop-dead gorgeous. What makes this one cool and unique is the bobtail frame. What caliber is it?

This one is a 9mm. These 2 are NN cco in 38 super and a NN railed commander in 45.

After a field strip and some lube, I got to the indoor range earlier today. The pistol ate 200 rounds of magtech 124 grain ammo perfectly. I took my 45 GI commander also. I was alone so the pics arenít that great.
What a sweet shooter.

The accuracy of GI 1911's just amazes me. I had been struggling the past couple of years in bowling pin matches trying to find my mojo with different guns, different calibers. Seems like most had either great triggers or great accuracy but never both and never in equal balance. The last pistol I owned that did was a Sig P220 I purchased in 1984. A few have come pretty close since then but after a few outings with Model 1, it became very clear that I had found it again.

I would tend to agree. The guns shoot phenomenal. Follow ups with this one we’re easy and fast, to the extent I found myself shooting too fast.

Plantar5 that gun is amazing, I love the slide-cuts and that fact it is a bobtail is even better. I'm jealous, congratulations
